The most decorated Fantic of the season: the XE300 dominated the enduro scene thanks to the two Italian titles won by Kevin Cristino in the Junior class and by Matteo Pavoni, factory-supported rider of Team Specia, in the 300 class. Completing an extraordinary season was the victory of the Maglia Azzurra in the Junior Trophy at the Six Days of Bergamo, with Cristino as the undisputed protagonist aboard his Fantic XE300 with Minarelli fuel-injection engine. Meanwhile, Semb had already secured silver in the prestigious FIM ISDE World Trophy, together with Norrbin and the Swedish team.
After impressing in Junior2 and beginning to assert itself in the E3 class with Albin Norrbin, the new Fantic XE300 MY26 arrives with a wide range of technical and aesthetic updates that make it even more competitive, powerful and modern.
Updated Design and Race-Ready ErgonomicsAesthetically, the XE300 MY26 introduces a new headlight mask paired with a lighter, more powerful and more modern LED headlight, complemented by the MY26 graphics that emphasise an even more aggressive and distinctive look.
Ergonomics, directly derived from competition, represent another key strength: compact layout, optimal mass centralisation, slim shrouds, integrated tanks (oil and fuel), direct access to the air filter, and shapes designed to ensure maximum freedom of movement in every riding condition.
MM300 – The Italian 2-Stroke EvolvesThe MM300 engine by Motori Minarelli, the beating heart of the XE300, undergoes a deep evolution for the 2026 season. It retains its soul as a true racing machine, yet raises the bar even higher in terms of technology, reliability and real-world response. The Minarelli fuel-injected powerplant — developed, tested and produced in Italy — remains the technological core of the XE300: dual indirect injectors, electronic exhaust valve, electric start and hydraulic clutch define a package unmatched in refinement and performance.
The main innovation is the complete evolution of the 300 cc engine, now even more efficient and powerful. The new top-end assembly, paired with a new expansion chamber, increases torque and driveability at low and mid revs, making the bike more responsive, easier to manage and the most powerful in its class across the entire powerband.
General Improvements – Efficiency, Durability and Evolved StandardsThe introduction of Euro 5+ homologation marks a major step forward on the environmental front, achieved without compromising performance in any way. The upgrade results from targeted interventions and redesigned components engineered to ensure solidity, efficiency and superior long-term durability.
The exhaust valve has been completely revised: a new forged-steel guillotine, lightened drums and a redesigned actuator shaft ensure smoother and more precise operation. The crankshaft has also evolved thanks to the use of next-generation materials capable of better withstanding the stresses typical of extreme enduro riding.
On the ignition side, the new three-phase generator — featuring an all-new rotor and stator — combined with an updated voltage regulator guarantees quicker starting and a more stable, efficient power supply for the entire electrical system.
Structural Upgrades for Maximum PrecisionAmong the most significant structural updates is the new control system for the SBS (Stopper/Backlash System) unit, designed to drastically reduce internal play. This improvement enhances both mechanical reliability and the precision of engine response, positioning itself exactly at the crossroads between structural evolution and increased dynamic performance.

The cylinder head adopts a completely revised geometry with reduced compression ratio and squish, while a new spark plug further improves ignition efficiency. The cylinder has also undergone meticulous refinement: new height, optimised ports and transfer ducts, and increased reed-valve distance for more efficient breathing and improved performance.
The exhaust system has also been completely redesigned — a key component in achieving the updated performance targets of the MY26 model.
Benchmark Chassis and Advanced ElectronicsThe chassis remains one of the XE300’s absolute strong points: the aluminum semi-double cradle frame offers the best possible balance between rigidity and lightness, while the proven Kayaba suspension system with 48 mm SSS fork continues to be an undisputed benchmark for racing enduro.
From a functional standpoint, the ECU has been repositioned to ensure total water protection, and the new waterproof wiring harness increases reliability in any riding condition.
